Buy a Beer: Ask Me Anything at the TinyHouseNC Street Festival

Hey! You may be surprised to find me here. This dusty old blog, which stands as a testament to a long-ago adventure, doesn't see a lot of sunlight these days. But, if you're reading along, I'm glad you've stuck with me.

And if you're here, I hope you'll consider attending the 2018 TinyHouseNC Street Festival in Pink Hill NC from April 27th through 29th.

I will be presenting at the festival this year, but things are going to be a little different. Matt and I will be hosting the:

Buy a beer: Ask Me Anything!

In partnership with Kinston brewery, Mother Earth Brewing, we will set up by the beer tent where you can buy yourself a cold one, come hang out with us, and LITERALLY Ask Us Anything.

How did this come about, you ask?

A few years ago, Matt and I went on a Nerd Cruise that was pretty awesome. On the cruise, the notable celebrity type people would often hold events they called "Office Hours." If you wanted to hang out with your favorite comedian or Star Trek personality, you could show up at the predetermined location on the ship - often a bar - and hang out with said celebrity. It was a casual good time where you could hang out, have a beer and ask them anything.

So, we had this crazy idea that office hours would be a fun event to have at the Street Festival and I ran it past Drew, who agreed that it was a pretty neat idea.

You may already be familiar with the popular AMAs or "Ask Me Anythings" that happen on Reddit or Twitter. We're bringing the concept live to Pink Hill and suggesting you buy a beer and hang out with us.

And we really mean it: you can ask us ANYTHING. There are no questions off limits. Anything you want to know about tiny homes in general. About our tiny home in particular. About beer. About general nerdery. Whatever you can think of, we'll try to come up with an answer. If we don't know, we'll raise a toast and have a good laugh.

Come for answers, stories, and beer.

Can't wait to see you all the TinyHouseNC Street Festival
