It has been a while since I've shared a tiny table recipe with y'all. Matt and I like to cook and there are times that we bust out all the pots and pans and old family recipes and the kitchen looks like a tornado tore through it. However, after moving into the tiny house our kitchen mantra became "simple and easy to prepare."
So, I present to you a recipe we like to call "Turkey Stuff."
You will need:
1 pound ground turkey
Egg noodles (We use the "Dumpling" size)
Soy Sauce
Parmesan Cheese
Additional seasoning as desired
Season your turkey as you like it. Sometimes we use garlic powder and other times we just use salt and pepper. Add soy sauce to the turkey and cook it in a skillet until it is cooked through.
In the meantime, boil water and cook the egg noodles according to package directions.
Once the noodles are done, drain them and return to the pot. Add the cooked turkey. Add about a half cup of Parmesan cheese. At this point we either stir it together or put the lid on the pot and shake it vigorously. That depends on our mood.
I know it kind of looks bland, but it is surprisingly tasty and one of my favorite easy meals to make.

ReplyDeleteHi there! I wanted to let you know, I've nominated you for a Liebster Award. :) You can find the info at http://ambertemple.blogspot.com/2013/01/ive-been-nominated.html
ReplyDeleteThanks Allyson - I will check it out!
DeleteI make something very similar but I love peas and add them to and boil with the pasta.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a cookbook for tiny house living? I think that would be a fantastic addition to the tiny house lifestyle community.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't done one, do you know of any tiny living cookbooks that you'd recommend?
Thanks so much.
A Tiny House Cookbook is a great idea. I am not personally familiar with any that already exist so it might be a great project. Maybe even something that everyone in the community can contribute to.
DeleteThere will be several recipes in my new book 120 Ideas for Tiny Living which will be out in March.
Nevermindthefood! That's a TARDIS! *Gazes at you with admiration*.
ReplyDeleteDo you have the Dalek pepper pot?
